Bogdan. OK. Let's roll. This is our new HubDoc. I am sure it's going to be very helpful in navigating Connect and helping you with all of your daily tasks. OK, so when I click on that, it's going to open up a screen. Let's say I've never done anything there before and I want to see a documentation, some documentation to do what I want to do. I can just type in there and say, hey, I want to make an automation. I can just type it in there and it will bring up the documents to help me do that. Yeah, that's kind of like, OK, I want to make an automation and it's just going to give you the exact steps and I can just keep it here and follow along. So navigate to the automations tab, click, create automation, click. Step by step. Awesome. Step by step. Exactly. Nice. I love it. And the context for that, the AI is strictly the HelpDoc. So like the chances of hallucination or getting like the AI kind of slop are reduced dramatically. So you're getting this is exactly how you go do this thing in Connect right now. Yep. Yeah, it's a huge win. I just want to point this out because this is internal messaging. We want feedback, right? We want our customers to click the thumbs up and thumbs down, depending on what they how they feel about it, right? Exactly. Because this gets fed up right back into the system prompt that we use for the AI model and also into our HelpDocs. It helps us out a lot. If you click these little buttons, if you click the downvote, if you can fill these out with just a few words, just let us know what's wrong, what you think it's inaccurate, how you think it should be different. It helps us a lot. Or if you love it, right? Oh, wait, I forgot we were dealing with sysadmins. Awesome. Well done. Thanks so much.

TL;DR

  • PDQ Connect now includes an AI assistant that provides step-by-step guidance for tasks by drawing directly from help documentation, reducing the need to search through traditional docs.
  • The AI is trained exclusively on PDQ's HelpDocs to minimize inaccurate responses and ensure users get current, accurate instructions for Connect features.
  • User feedback via thumbs up/down buttons directly improves both the AI model and underlying documentation, creating a continuous improvement loop for the assistant's accuracy.

Summary

PDQ introduces a new AI assistant integrated into PDQ Connect, designed to help sysadmins navigate the platform and complete tasks more efficiently. The AI assistant functions as an interactive help documentation tool, allowing users to ask natural language questions and receive step-by-step guidance for specific tasks. The demonstration shows how users can simply type requests like 'I want to make an automation' and receive detailed, sequential instructions drawn directly from PDQ's help documentation. The AI is specifically trained on PDQ's HelpDocs to minimize hallucination and ensure accuracy, providing contextually relevant guidance for current Connect functionality. PDQ emphasizes the importance of user feedback through thumbs up/down buttons, which feeds back into both the AI model's system prompt and the underlying help documentation to continuously improve the assistant's accuracy and usefulness. This feature represents PDQ's effort to reduce friction in learning and using Connect by providing on-demand, conversational access to documentation without leaving the workflow.

FAQ

How does the PDQ Connect AI assistant differ from general AI chatbots?

The assistant is trained exclusively on PDQ's help documentation rather than general knowledge, which dramatically reduces hallucination and ensures responses reflect actual current Connect functionality with step-by-step accuracy.

How can users help improve the AI assistant's accuracy?

Users can click thumbs up or thumbs down buttons on AI responses and provide brief feedback about what's wrong or how it should be different, which feeds directly into improving both the AI model and the underlying help documentation.
