Elevate Your Network, Simplify Your Day demo series. Now this demo will focus on how the NetScope platform provides strong resiliency, helping reduce unplanned service downtime and disruptions, ensuring that both on-prem and remote users can work efficiently without delays. Now let's take a look at how I am currently connected to the NetScope New Edge data center from my home office. In this case, it looks like SF01, the San Francisco data center, has been selected. Makes sense, not too far from me. But what happens if there's an issue with the connectivity to the SF01 data center? How is that going to impact my performance and my ability to connect to my destinations? Now for the on-ramp connectivity to New Edge, GSLB or Global Server Load Balancing is used to identify the best New Edge data center to connect to. And in the event of a failure scenario, the user will automatically be connected to another New Edge data center. Up to 10 data centers are identified and ready for failover. Now data center selection is based on a number of factors, starting with the lowest latency connection. So we're going to look for the highest performance connectivity to that data center, and we're going to choose that data center. Let's go ahead and force a failure scenario to see how this works. Now I'm currently connected, as I mentioned, to the SF01 data center, but in this case, an issue has been detected. And if we give it a second here, I'm seamlessly connected from SF01 and moved to LAX2 in Los Angeles. Again, not too far away. It's kind of the next best data center for me. So ultimately, no disruption to the end user, thanks to the resilience of the Netscope platform powered by New Edge. Now when a user connects to an internet destination, such as an app or a website via Netscope, the network conditions are actively monitored. And if the route the user takes becomes degraded because of congestion, maybe it's an ISP issue, or even a fiber cut event, Netscope will proactively change the route, ensuring good user experience. So this goes beyond just making sure that you have a resilient and high-performance on-ramp to Netscope. This is making sure that your users, wherever they are, connecting to those applications and websites, are going to get really good, consistent, and high-resilient connectivity and performance. That is our proactive route control. Now Netscope also provides a trust portal, so you can monitor and be alerted to service issues with the Netscope platform, check the health of various data plane and management plane services, in addition to the health of individual data centers around the world. And Netscope backs up resiliency claims with industry-leading SLAs for both availability, as well as round-trip time processing latency for both decrypted and non-decrypted transactions. With Netscope, you can be confident that users anywhere get fast, secure, and uninterrupted access to SaaS, websites, and private applications.
