You spend hours crafting the perfect infrastructure's code. You deploy it to production and everything is running smoothly. A week later, your phone is lit up like a Christmas tree with notifications. Production is on fire. Your main API is down. Customer data is exposed. Costs are skyrocketing by the second. And your compliance alarms are literally yelling at you. But no one touched it. Drift can be devastating. But how do we fix it? Well, we can always use a simple method and that's a manual plan and apply. This will show us our desired outcome versus our current state. But it doesn't exactly let us know when drift happens. For that, we could just perform regular audits, create automated drift detection strips, create immutable infrastructure, and enforce GitOps. But here's the thing. Even if most cloud engineers knew how to detect drift, depending on how bad it is, how quickly could they remediate it? Wouldn't it be nice if we could scan multiple clouds and IACs at the same time? Detect drift across multiple IAC tools, including all their versions, instantly remediate it and work flawlessly at scale.
