Hi Mike Matchett with Small World Big Data. We are here at RSAC 2025 looking at the latest and greatest cybersecurity innovations on the vendor show floor. We're here in Blumira's booth, o ne of our favorite vendors in the SIEM and XDR space. I've got Matt Warner here. Hi, Matt. Hi. Excited to be here. Tell me a little bit about, uh, where Blumira fits in this space and this XDR space, because there is some competition here. Of course. Yeah, the the SIEM space. The XR space is a crowded thing. It just is inherently for Blumira . That's really why we look at it as the need to drive a security operations platform, rather than just saying, what is the data that we could do? How can we drive this forward? Really, how do you make your life easier using technology? Sim and XDR was never made for that. It was made for pulling in logs and maybe doing something else for Blumira . What we do is focus on solving the problems for small and medium businesses, growing businesses, and help them really get better. Them and MSPs. All right. So, uh, when you look around at the RSAC show, there's some common themes going on here. You know, AIS, one of them, supply chain analysis, another one, uh, but it's more specifically for what you do. What are you hearing from clients and what kind of challenges can you help them with in 2025 here? Sure. So it's definitely different between the enterprise and the mid-market and SMB. Just inherently different. We often don't hear how can I use AI, but rather how do I stop my users from using AI? Like that is really more important. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. How do I make it safer? And often that is not. How do I put an AI chatbot somewhere and make it work together? So when I look around the floor, what I don't see is people that necessarily deliver services for the IT staff, for the small and medium business, for the small IT teams or security teams. So really what I'm what I'm excited for is more growth on that side. How can we help the small teams? How can we help people more here at Blumira ? That's what we do. And you know, that is interesting kind of take that would fit into this sort of supply chain web of companies. Right. Because not every company is a big, big company is going to have lots of smaller companies both above and below it in their chain. And they all need to be in, in on the security game. Right. And they have the right security posture. So, uh, what do you guys do that's a little bit different than when you approach when you approach this part of the market. Sure. Yeah. So for Blumira , the focus really is giving them that security platform or you that security platform that is easy to use the time to value is within 24 hours. Most people have never used a security platform that when you start using that SIM, when you start using that automated response within 24 hours, you know why you did that? Okay, Blumira is here. Really to drive that value to people and give them a platform that gives them increased operational resilience. And what we know is that companies that have better operational resilience grow, get better. And ideally you get to sleep more at night. All right. So, uh, if you, uh, look around at, uh, RSAC 25,000 people here, and you wanted to give the security professionals here a message. What would you like them all to take away about, uh, about this? Sure. Yeah. I'm going to say the message that I like to say, which is we were correct 20 years ago about defense in depth. Let's keep doing that. Let's go back to basics. Make sure that we're doing the right things. Companies like Blumira , other ones here on the floor that are really focused on growing, where we can make people more efficient. Let's not forget the human side of AI. There are people that still need to be working. We cannot crush them all with AI. We need them here. We need you here and everyone who's at this floor. Let's remember we are here to work together. Ai doesn't solve that problem. Let's make sure we're making products that do. All right, so that's just a really good message. You know, I heard you talk about helping the smaller businesses get up to speed on the security posture, particularly if they don't have a lot of security specific staff. Right. So how do you get them that expertise and stuff? So it's a really good angle on that. If someone is in that position, where would you point them at to sort of get started or maybe get take the next steps in understanding how they can take advantage of this? Of course. Yeah. So you should come to Bloomberg.com, run our domain scanner. It will run it for you. We'll tell you anything you need to know for free. You can sign up for for free. We'll monitor your Microsoft 365. You'll get all the insights you need, and I won't pressure you about any of it. Yeah. So you can just get that checkup and get that get in there. Oh. That's great. Uh, well, uh, if you've got, uh, security, uh, desires and you don't have a lot of security staff, check out Blumira , right? Yeah. You should. It'll be great, I promise. All right, take care, folks. Bye.
