Companies have become more efficient and effective at assessing talent, but this requires finding a more secure way to evaluate candidates. The CIO's role has become more important in this regard. Culture used to be defined by perks like lunches, dinners, and gym memberships, but this has shifted to accommodate remote work and the new challenge of "Zoom fatigue." Companies now need to offer new benefits to support their teams in the new remote work environment.
