TRUTH IN IT (Ekovox LLC) ONLINE EVENT PRIZE DRAWING OFFICIAL RULES

1. ELIGIBILITY.

The drawings are open only to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and who are IT professionals.
Only individuals who attend the online event hosted by Truth in IT (Ekovox LLC) and who are present at the time of the drawings are eligible to win. Eligibility to participate in the drawings is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Duplicate or more than 1 entry are disqualified and voided. Employees of Truth in IT and participating event sponsor companies are not eligible. Intentional duplicate entries or event registrations will automatically disqualify the entrant from any drawing.

2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE DRAWING. Purchasing services from Ekovox LLC will not improve chances of winning. There is no cost to attend the Truth in IT online event.

3. ENTRY.

To enter the drawings, you must register for the online event hosted by Truth in IT prior to its advertised start date and time, and you must attend the online event hosted by Truth in IT and must enter using the link provided during the event by entering your email address.

4. ODDS

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible attendees entered and present for the drawings. The odds are 10 out of the total number of attendees.

5. DRAWINGS.

The drawings are powered by Viralsweep (www.viralsweep.com) and winners are automatically and randomly selected via the Viralsweep platform and each winner is automatically and immediately notified.

6. PRIZES.

Expenses not specifically provided for in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the winners. All federal, state and local taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the winners. The prizes may not be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash, except that Truth in IT may substitute a prize of equal or greater value due to prize availability.

7. DELIVERY.

If you are selected as a winner, Truth in IT will contact you at the email address you provided with your online event registration, and you will need to provide an address where the prize may be delivered. We may retain a third party to handle prize delivery and you agree that Truth in IT may provide them with your contact information. Truth in IT is not responsible for missing, damaged, broken, lost, stolen, or misdirected prizes.

In the event that Truth in IT is unable to contact any prize winners via email within 14 calendar days of the original email notification to the prize winner, the prize shall be forfeited.

8. RELEASE OF NAME; AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY.

By entering the drawings, you agree that if you are selected as a winner Truth in IT may release your name, on a list of the winners’ names, upon request to participants or as otherwise legally required. A winner mayl be required to sign and return a US Internal Revenue Service W9 form, or the prize may be forfeited. The winners may be requested to sign a publicity release; however, execution of a publicity release is not required to accept a prize.

9. MODIFICATION OF DRAWING.

Truth in IT reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or modify the drawings if the drawings’ integrity is compromised in any way, and it may select winners from eligible non-suspect entrants. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

10. BOUND BY RULES.

By entering the drawings, you fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Truth in IT, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the drawings. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the drawings. Truth in IT reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to disqualify permanently from the drawings any entrant it believes has violated these Official Rules.

11. USE OF DATA.

Truth in IT will collect personal data about entrants in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review Truth in IT’s privacy policy here. By participating in the drawings, you agree to Truth in IT’s collection and usage of your personal information and you acknowledge that you have read and accepted Truth in IT’s privacy policy.

12. RELEASE BY ENTRANTS.

By participating in the drawings, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Ekovox LLC, Truth in IT, and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective members, officers, directors, employees and agents, from any liability, claims, losses, and damages arising out of or relating to these prize drawings, including without limitation your participation in the online event hosted by Truth in IT and the drawings.

13. RELEASE BY WINNER.

By accepting a prize, each winner agrees that Truth in IT and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective members, officers, directors, employees and agents will have no liability or responsibility for, and they will be held harmless against, any injuries, damages or losses of any kind to any person (including death) or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the entry, receipt, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize. If a winner executes a publicity release, the winner agrees, where lawful, that Truth in IT may use the winner’s name, likeness, biographical information, voice, and statements attributed to winner (if true) for publication, advertising and promotional purposes, without consideration.

14. CHOICE OF LAW AND VENUE; ARBITRATION.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrants and Truth in IT in connection with the drawings, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts without regard to its conflict of law provisions, except as to matters relating to arbitration, which shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the drawings or any prize will be decided only by arbitration, individually and not on a class-wide basis. Any arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association and will take place in Norfolk Country, Massachusetts. Any and all claims or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the drawings, but in no event attorney’s fees; and under no circumstances will an entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
