hey Dave Littman here, Truth in IT, and

00:12

I am glad to have Mark Shirman, Mark is

00:15

COO with Congruity360. Mark welcome

00:18

thank you it's good to be here

00:20

all right so hey we are talking about

00:22

about the technology that you buy the

00:25

technology that you deploy and why it's

00:27

important to know who is actually

00:30

installing it in configuring it so you

00:33

know tell us a little bit about you know

00:35

what what you know end-users and IT

00:38

shops should be thinking about in terms

00:40

of that end of the business so as you

00:43

might know we focus on data

00:45

infrastructure so we're very much data

00:48

folks and data engineers that might be

00:51

storage that might be data protection

00:53

disaster recovery etc many companies

00:57

many organizations are looking for ways

00:59

to leverage the cloud that might be

01:03

going hybrid cloud that might be moving

01:05

things wholesale to a public cloud it

01:09

might be building those kinds of

01:11

solutions in-house and being able to

01:12

measure those that confusion about the

01:15

best way to do that move the right way

01:18

to configure that information it's kind

01:20

of what we focus on and it is very much

01:23

a topic of conversation as well as a

01:26

ever-changing technical technology

01:28

landscape that happens now where people

01:31

are putting in flash drives people are

01:33

looking at converged systems how do they

01:36

leverage those what are the use cases

01:38

around those and then how do they move

01:40

and leverage cloud oriented solutions

01:43

almost everybody is trying to figure

01:46

this out now that they sort of get their

01:47

toe in the water in some way shape or

01:49

form with Amazon or hash or etc and then

01:53

what that brings an extra light to is

01:56

information governance so that might

01:58

relate to ediscovery data or governance

02:01

data and now you've got risk folks and

02:05

general counsel involved and how data

02:08

needs to be done and managed inside

02:10

large organizations and that's really

02:12

kind of what we do okay so so let me

02:14

just back up a second mark so you guys

02:17

are are integrating

02:21

these complex technology infrastructure

02:24

x' but you guys don't always necessarily

02:27

have the direct relationship with the

02:30

end-user a lot of times your customers

02:32

are the technology OEMs themselves to

02:34

pure storages you know you know many of

02:38

them so talk to us a little bit about

02:39

that that's correct so we feel a need in

02:43

the market where folks are looking for

02:46

engineers with broad breadth of

02:47

experience in around these platforms and

02:51

that's what we do you know Oh II am

02:53

generally focused on building a product

02:56

taking it to market that's where they

02:58

make their margins that's their business

03:00

not services

03:02

some folks dangle in it but you're

03:04

really devil in it but you're basically

03:06

looking at very large organizations and

03:08

even so the folks like the pews etc

03:12

would rather do that through their

03:13

channel the channel very often

03:16

particularly the reselling channels

03:17

still very much focused on selling

03:19

products so our ability then to help the

03:23

channel or help the OEM directly with

03:27

these services is a huge advantage to

03:31

them into the market and that's what we

03:33

do driving forward we build our business

03:36

model in such a way that we can be

03:38

white-label so the margins were the

03:40

business model works so there's never

03:42

any conflict whether the reseller takes

03:45

us and potentially marks us off the end

03:47

user where we go through the OEM for us

03:50

it's a very efficient model that allows

03:52

us to recruit the top engineering talent

03:55

and still not compete with almost

03:59

anybody in the market because our

04:01

expertise is in doing the work okay

04:03

fabulous and so it's a win-win for the

04:06

OEMs because a lot of times they don't

04:08

have to fully employ this infrastructure

04:12

they can just outsource it to you guys

04:14

get you guys trained up have you come in

04:16

and do the delivery that's correct and

04:19

you know because we also own our own

04:21

datacenter we have the ability to do all

04:24

kinds of Technology interoperability

04:27

testing as well as potentially hosting

04:30

on a permanent or 10 temporary basis

04:34

folks data and infrastructure

04:36

environments to help with the

04:38

transformation so we really are a value

04:40

add obviously to the end-user but also

04:43

to many of the partners that are really

04:46

trying to drive product more than a

04:48

driving service where services we are

04:51

the plumbers that make all the stuff

04:52

work okay fabulous all right mark well

04:55

you know urge everybody if you're

04:58

interested in these sorts of services

05:01

check out congruity 360 com you'll see
