Welcome back to what's new in BRMS. These are going to be the June 2026 quarterly enhancements. It's going to be 2026.2.0 that we're going to talk about. I'm going to talk about what the enhancements are real quick, and then I'm going to give you a demo to show you where everything's located in the web portal. Let's jump in. So what's new? BRMS log, you're going to see two new filters, filter by severe messages. We're going to take a look at the message IDs that we consider that are severe and would cause a control group failed status. We are also going to be able to filter by not saved messages, things that weren't saved maybe in the IFS or in a library or something like that. We're going to show you the message IDs in a table that reflect things that weren't saved. The other thing we did is we made enhancements to the backup list management. Now, instead of going on the green screen, you've got the ability through the web portal to add, copy, or remove backup object lists and edit the entries in an object list. We're going to kind of go through and show you that. The backup history management, now we've got four new views to look at object details. You can look at it by library object. You can look at it by IFS, maybe a directory or an IFS file. You can look at the history by spool files or by folders, and we also give you the ability to restore at the object level, and I will show you an example of where that is and how to get there. SQL view documentation, okay, we, and on the tables, you can see the SQL view that's available, but the other thing that we do is the, next to the SQL, when you look at the statement to the right of that, you're going to see a question mark in a circle. We also give you the documentation for the SQL view that you're actually looking at, which has got all the columns and things like that, so if you want to write your own SQL, you've got an explanation of the SQL view that you're currently using, so I will show you how that works. Administration, before we had two roles. We had star operator and we had star admin. Now we added a new role called star sysoper, and these are the functions and the ability that sysoper now has, and I'll show you where that's located, and then there's two global changes. We've changed the default rows per page from 10 to 100, and now you have the ability to change that to 100, 250, or 500. I'll show you where that is. We also have this little icon, this broom, which is clear entries, and what we're able to do is now we can clear a bunch of entries at one time in the control group as well as the backup list, so how do I get the updates? It's pretty simple. If you go out to fix central for IBM or do a send ptf word command based on what OS level you're at, these are the ptf IDs, ptf numbers that you would have to download, and then on the bottom there I give you the steps required. There's four commands. You can apply the ptf immediately to start taking advantage of what we're going to talk about today with the enhancements for the June quarterly of 2026. For BRMS, the changes, you would just have to run those four commands. Just end your TCP server for BRM, load, apply your ptf, and then restart that, and you're good to go, so let's jump in here and take a peek at this right now, so BRMS log in the left-hand side here. Let's close these. If I go to BRMS log, you can see that to the right, and you can see my search, but if I wanted to apply a quick filter and I click on that, you can see that they're down here. The severe error is not saved. If I click on severe errors, these are the errors that we consider are severe, okay? Now, if you want to see what those IDs are, if you click on SQL here to view that, that's the SQL statement that we're actually running, and you can see that those are the message IDs in the where part of that SQL statement that we consider are severe. Now, if you see something in there that you would like added or you want changed, just provide us some feedback. We can take a look at it and see, and we'd be glad to take if we think that that's important. Maybe possibly we can add that in there. The other thing I wanted to talk about is in this from statement where you've got this here, what we do is in this question mark, if you click on that, that's the view information of what we're using, okay? So if you take a peek at that, you can see the column, what each column represents. So if you're an SQL guy, you can see that you can do some pretty neat things in here. I tend to use this a lot in ACS. So if you go out to Access Client Solutions and you do run SQL scripts, you can write your own SQL scripts if you want. So we give you that information, that documentation. All right, I'm going to close this. I'm going to clear my filters. I'm going to go back over here, and now I'm going to do filter by not saved messages. And I absolutely love this because when I'm looking at a log, really what I want to look at is I want to look and see what wasn't saved. We now give you a filter to kind of look at that. The other thing is if you click on the SQL, you can see what we're doing here. You know, maybe there's something in here that you would like to see changed. You know, give us some feedback on that. But if you want to run your own SQL statements, that's the SQL statement that we're running to build this. And if you scroll down to the very bottom here, this is one of those global changes, rows per page. The default now from 10 is now 100, and you can change that to 100, 250, or 500. So that might help you out. I know it helps me out when I'm scrolling through logs, especially BRMS logs. Okay. Let's jump over to here, and let's talk about backup list management. So now, if I go to control groups, and I click on backup list, here's my backup list. If I go to the top here, and I've got one in here for, let's say, live 01. A couple of things. If you want to copy a backup list, you can go over here to the right-hand side, the three dots, and you can copy, you can remove, you can look at the details. There's a couple of ways to get down at the object. You can click on details, or you can double-click this, and this will get you there. Up here with the backup list details, if you wanted to change that text, let's do 2262.0, and I can do a save, and that'll save that. So you can do that, or you can go down, and you can look at the entries that are in here. Now, if you had more entries, what you can do is you can go over here, and you can move things. So you can say, hey, I want to insert before, after, whatever, go ahead and click here, and you can enter your object list entry. I'm not going to do that now. Here's that little broom that we talked about. It's one of those global changes made at the control level, at the backup list level, and if you wanted to get rid of all of the entries for this object list, rather than going into each individual one, you can do that here, click on that, do a confirm, and that'll clear all those for you, okay? So those are the changes to backup list management. Now, for backup history, if I click on here, we now give you four views that you can look at. You can look at that object level, at the IFS directory or files, spool files or folders. We give you the ability now to do that. So if I want to do a look at backup history objects, and let's say I wanted to type in this library here, here you can see that you can actually search for a saved item or a saved object if you want, and let's say, for example, for this library here, here I can see that these are the entries of everything that was saved in this Herbst library, okay? So you can actually look at all that, and you can see that of what was saved in the date. Now, if you wanted to restore something, I can restore here, and then I can go, and I can restore the object, okay? And then I can go into my override options, and I can put all that. So now we give you the ability to restore at that object level, okay? Administration, I'm going to go down to administration, and you can see right now, for example, BButcher is admin. If I wanted to add somebody here, and I'm going to call them, let's just grab one here. I've got somebody in here. I'm going to do a Tom K, and here what I can do is I can say, okay, sysoperator, sysoper, and Tom K is now added, and now he's got the rights that we talked about in the slide, and you can look at that. If you want to change that, click on the three dots, and you can change it or you can remove them, whatever you want to do here, okay? And the last thing is with the global changes, I will go to the control groups just so you can see the clear entry. If I go into control groups, and I click here, and let's find a control group, go to all user. Let's go to entries here, and if you add more entries in this example, there's that clear entry again, and that'll do it.
