amazing folks. And right now I have Rob from Varonis. Rob, welcome. Thank you for having me, Sarah. You are most welcome. Now, Rob, you have a very cool-looking booth here. Thank you. So tell me a bit about who are Varonis, what do they do, and why are you here? Sure. So Varonis is a data security company, and to keep it very high level, we find and classify all of your sensitive data, no matter where it lives. It could be in Microsoft 365, in Azure, Salesforce, wherever you keep your sensitive data. So we classify it, whether it's HIPAA data, GDPR, secrets. And then we make sure that only the right people and agents have access to that data, which is super important in today's day and age with copilot and agentic AI. You want to make sure that only the right data is making it into people's hands, the data that they need. And then lastly, we monitor all the activity. So every read, move, modify, open, delete of data, and then create baselines so that we know when activity becomes abnormal. It's kind of like a credit card company, how they do fraud detection, where they see that you're doing transactions that are atypical for you. So really, it's all in service of preventing data breaches and keeping your data safe and secure from breaches. Yeah, and that's pretty important in today's day and age, right? Absolutely. Now, of course, you're here at Ignite, so we know you're a friend of Microsoft, but more than that, I know Varonis have a partnership with Microsoft. So tell me more about that. Sure. So we've been partnering with Microsoft in many ways over the years. We integrate really well with Microsoft 365, Azure, basically anywhere you keep sensitive data in the Microsoft estate, Varonis can help protect it. And we do so very seamlessly. We integrate with Microsoft Security Solutions, and it's a really great partnership to make sure that companies have defense in depth and that any data that they care about is protected by both Microsoft and Varonis. And with CoPilot and CoPilot Studio, it's more important than ever that we collaborate to keep our customers safe. It's true. And I mean, we just saw lots of stuff about that in the keynote, but tell me a bit more about how Varonis and Microsoft actually work together, because I am a security lady, so I like to know the details. Love it. Yeah. So it's super easy to set up Varonis for M365 or Azure. It's an API connection, so we'll connect in about five minutes, get the right permissions to start scanning the sensitive data and doing the fine fix alert that we do for all the data we protect. We integrate with Purview, so we use the Purview labels. So when we classify something as sensitive, we can apply a Purview label, and then the downstream DLP and IRM controls can kind of take effect. And so we're really, when we're deployed together, it's super seamless and customers are really well protected. And we're also doing prompt monitoring for CoPilot, so we can see basically what the chats and responses are, whether sensitive data is being surfaced by chats, and whether any of that behavior is abnormal as well. Yeah. Oh, I'm not sure I'd want it to have a look at some of my prompts, not because they're very controversial, but incredibly boring. But anyway, but well, you've already touched on this, but of course, data security is a huge part of AI security, of course, because AI needs and creates lots of data. So how are you building on that to support more general AI security? Absolutely. Well, you hit the nail on the head. AI security is data security because AI feasts on data, and really making sure that only the right data makes it to the right agents and LLMs is the core of what Varonis is really trying to do, and do really, really well and in an automated way so that humans don't have to make heads or tails of data access. And we do that using AI ourselves. We've got to use your AI to fix your AI, of course, right? Absolutely. Now, I'm going to... Now, I know we've already had loads of announcements today, and we're talking about new things, but I wanted to ask you, what is coming up, if you can share, what interesting things have Varonis got coming up on the horizon that you can tell us about? Yeah, so we just acquired an email security company that uses AI to detect social engineering and advanced phishing threats because you know now attackers are using AI to generate the most advanced and impeccably crafted phishing campaigns, and they're launching them over email, over Slack and WhatsApp. And so we have Varonis Interceptor now to help fight social engineering and phishing.
