really means is I create and teach training courses on everything KCITI. I've been in the IT field since it wasn't called IT, it was called data processing back in the day. I program manage data centers from the ground up, from 10 to 30 to 300 racks, I'm based out of the UAE, so most of the data centers were in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I've always liked making complex systems as simple as possible, because if you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough. When I was at SC and even in the program management roles, I found it very easy to explain tasks to the senior stakeholders of the project in a very simplified way. So as I enjoyed doing that, I found that maybe I could go into the training type environment. Well really the common misconception is KCITI is just a data protection company. Now protecting data is extremely critical, however KCITI makes that data useful in many sites, analytics, threat detection, etc. Really what we're trying to do is make that backup data more useful than just for recovery. Now recovery is critical, no one's going to go away from saying that, but that data sitting there doing nothing is hopefully, let's be fair, no one likes doing recoveries because you've got a problem, hopefully a waste of space. So what we're trying to do is make sure that that data is not wasted, you can actually use it in your production environment for compliance, for testing, for many different things, you know, threat detection for ransomware, etc. So really KCITI is not just protecting your data, we're making it available so you can use it in your corporation or something else.
