to talk about how we can help you. Baseball really finds itself on the cutting edge of technology. AI is going to be huge for us building agents, really thinking about the workflows that we deploy within Google Cloud. My job is to innovate responsibly, let our teams experiment, but do that in a way that both feels seamless but has security at the core. Really, something like Adbat or the MLB app, they're sharing data with us. They have to feel like that data is in a secure place. Palo Alto Networks is our oldest security partner. We're offering cyber as a service now across the league to our clubs. With the components of Prisma SASE, we have the ability to securely connect ballparks, remote offices, cloud environments, and a distributed remote workforce. Some of our newest agentic AI solutions that we've built with Google, they are all protected by Prisma Heirs. We have been deploying Prisma Browser across the organization. Security controls are embedded, and the employee doesn't even notice the experience. What we're seeing at the SOC level is the ability for us to look at a broader scope of threat information and actually action it. XIM is playing a really strong role in getting us there. When they get to the point where we need those extra hands, UNO42 has been right there with us. We've blocked 35 million threats in the last 30 days. We've significantly reduced the amount of noise that SOC analysts have to deal with. We've enabled countless applications. Employees are just enabled to do their job without having to think about cyber security. Technology is paramount to the way the game is played. We like to innovate. We like to move fast as we work with new fans, new countries where you see baseball growing. They want us to build and maintain this trust with them. Palo Alto Networks will be there with MLB as we guide a path for the future.

TL;DR

  • MLB deployed Palo Alto Networks' Prisma SASE, Prisma Browser, Cortex XSIAM, and Prisma AIRS to secure ballparks, remote workforce, cloud environments, and AI applications built with Google Cloud.
  • The security platform blocked 35 million threats in 30 days while reducing SOC analyst alert fatigue through consolidated threat intelligence and automated response capabilities.
  • MLB now offers cybersecurity as a service to league clubs, enabling secure innovation with AI agents while maintaining fan trust in data protection across digital platforms.

Summary

Major League Baseball has partnered with Palo Alto Networks to secure its digital infrastructure as the organization embraces AI innovation and serves fans globally. The deployment spans multiple Palo Alto Networks platforms including Prisma SASE for secure connectivity across ballparks, remote offices, and cloud environments, Prisma Browser for embedded security controls, Cortex XSIAM for SOC operations, and Prisma AIRS for protecting agentic AI solutions built with Google Cloud. MLB reports blocking 35 million threats in 30 days while significantly reducing SOC analyst alert fatigue. The security architecture enables MLB to offer cybersecurity as a service across the league to member clubs, supporting both innovation velocity and responsible AI experimentation. The partnership positions security as foundational to MLB's technology strategy as the organization expands into new markets and builds trust with fans sharing data through platforms like the MLB app and At Bat.
