Mike Matchett Small World Big Data. We're here at RSAC live. We've been talking to lots of folks about cybersecurity. We've got a lot of topics to cover. A lot of people to go. We have Sentra here with us. I've got Dave Stewart. Welcome, Dave. Thank you. Could you just really high level what is Sentra do? Sentra is a pioneer in the data security posture management DSP space. And that helps secure data across multi-cloud hybrid environments. Right. We've got a lot of IT folks out here who might not know what posture is. What do you mean by posture management? Not like we're sitting in a chair. But yeah. Yeah. So posture management is all about finding data at rest and how sensitive it is and classifying it accurately so that I can then take the proper remediation or control actions. So you kind of want to get a view of your landscape and figure out how it's configured. And that's exactly posture. Exactly. Okay. So what would you say is your sort of first impression of RSAC this year? What are what are people looking for? What do you think are the hot topics? Well, I is clearly one of the big hot topics, right. And everybody's got that. We actually did launch the ability to discover and protect AI agents across environments. So not only just data, but AI I and the and the sensitive data that they have access to. All right. So you're looking you're looking at both what's going into the data into the AI agent. You know sort of the Rag data maybe or the or the whole training data sets and everything. That's right. Yeah. We're we're we'll discover the models that the agents are using, the knowledge bases that they're drawing sensitive data from, and then be able to alert you to any activity that looks suspicious or violates a compliance regulation. And it doesn't comprehensively. So that's a real challenge for organizations. Is this a growing vulnerability? This looking at the configurations and where the data is or is this something that's got that people have gotten in hand? So it's definitely growing. Data sharing is driving it. Um, the A.I. agents and generative AI are being proliferating rapidly as a productivity tool for organizations. And unfortunately, security hasn't generally kept pace with that proliferation. So one of the tools that we're launching is this data security for AI agents to be able to help automate that tracking process. I mean, I would agree with you that there's so many AI projects out there that so many people aren't looking at the ethics or the or the quality or anything else, but they're certainly not looking at the security of it. Yeah. Well, you want to have responsible and secure AI and, uh, yet be productive. Right. Be innovative, drive the productivity, get the value out of these tools and but do it securely. So that's what we do. If someone is sitting out there in this audience and hasn't yet thought about security for their AI initiatives yet, what would be your first, first, and best recommendation for them? Get control of your data first, right? Because the data is the foundation or the source for what those activities. Right. For the learnings that go on for the retrieval that goes on, as you mentioned. And um, unfortunately, too often companies don't have good visibility into all the data moves around the cloud or they don't understand where sensitive data is. So just getting a grasp on all that is kind of your first, best step. Hey, we got to run. We got lots more to cover here. Dave Stewart with Sentra. Check it out. You guys have a website. Center.Sentral.io. Thanks, guys. Bye.
