Verge.IO is designed to run on existing hardware, abstracting itself from specific chips or processors thus also providing the flexibility to easily mix different types of nodes within the same environment. For example, a setup could include Intel servers initially, but later incorporate AMD servers for cost savings or better performance. They also support GPU-based nodes, enabling the integration of analytics packages or other applications that benefit from GPU acceleration. This flexibility in hardware and node composition allows organizations to optimize their infrastructure based on specific needs and requirements.
