Christophe Bertrand, Sr. Research Analyst with ESG wanted to learn if IT professionals really understood their responsibility when it came to protecting data in SaaS environments. This is the third time ESG conducted this research in the past three years. They found ~33% said, "...oh, no, I don't need to back up my SaaS applications. It's really handled by the service provider." Well, that's wrong. No one is going to magically do backups for you. Your data is your responsibility.
