Object storage powers the cloud, and the cloud is primarily built on open-source technologies. MinIO is software-defined open-source object storage that makes multi-cloud architecture look like an object store rather than having object storage in different places.  With a single admin console, it is easy to manage and has the ability to enable active-active replication upwards to four sites which is a necessary requirement for large scale customers. MinIO believes in a developer first approach and is proud to have 20 thousand active users in their community all hacking and feeding information to the company from product documentation to functionality and everything in between.
