Configuring listener ports help Log360 Cloud's agents securely transmit the Syslog messages collected from your network to Log360 Cloud. This video elaborates on the steps to add listener ports. To add a new port for Syslog collection, log into your Log360 Cloud console. Navigate to the Settings tab. On the left-hand pane, select Admit. Select the Listener Ports option under Management. The Listener Ports window will be displayed with a list of actively configured ports. To add a new Syslog port, click the Add Syslog Port button in the top right corner of the window. In the Add Syslog Port Configuration window, enter the port number in the Port field. Select the appropriate protocol, UDP or TCP, from the Protocol drop-down menu. If you want the port you're adding to be the default port, enable the Make Port as Default option. If you want this port to be used by specific agents, click the plus icon next to the Agent field to browse and select the agents from the available list. After entering all the necessary details, click Add to save the configuration. You have successfully added a Syslog port in Log360 Cloud.
