our SVSAN VSA firmware through the vCenter plugin. We can see from the SVSAN web GUI that we're currently running version 6.3.p2. If we go to vCenter, click configure and go to our StoreMagic plugin dashboard, we'll get a notification that 6.3 update 1 is now available. Once we go to the support portal and download that version, we simply click upgrade and then upload our image. After our firmware image is uploaded, we can simply click upgrade VSA to launch the upgrade wizard. We'll start by choosing the VSA or VSAs we want to upgrade. For this example, we will just be upgrading one of our VSAs. Then we'll give our cluster upgrade a name for reporting and click next. On the next screen, we'll make sure the correct firmware is selected and click next. If you need to schedule the upgrade for a later time, you can do this on the next screen. Finally, our last screen here will be a summary of our firmware upgrade. Once we click finish, the upgrade will begin and we can monitor from the schedule tasks tab. After getting the task a little time to complete, we can refresh the screen and see that our upgrade is complete. If we go back to the SVSAN web GUI and refresh, we can see that we have successfully upgraded this VSA and see we are running the new version which has a new web GUI look and feel.
