release. So starting off on the Backup Manager, we've introduced some new platform support in Cove 26.3, with Windows Server 2025 and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS now being officially supported by Cove. Simply, all you need to do is deploy the Backup Manager agent on systems that run these operating systems and you'll have the full backup and recovery capabilities available for use. For more information about this topic, you'll find that in our user guide. Moving over to the Management Console, in Cove 26.3, our integration with Halo PSA has entered Limited Tech Preview. So this integration allows you to auto-create tickets for any backup alerts and failures detected in Cove directly into your Halo PSA environment. So this will eliminate the need for manual checks, email-based workarounds, and ensure that backup issues are captured directly in your Halo PSA environment. This will overall improve technician efficiency, and for information on how to sign up for this Limited Tech Preview, you'll find that in our release notes. Moving over to Microsoft 365, in Cove 26.3, we've brought several enhancements to this offering. Starting off with Group-Based Data Protection, which is now officially generally available in Cove 26.3. So this functionality currently supports Exchange Online and OneDrive, and it allows you to select Microsoft EntreID security groups to define which Microsoft users are protected in Cove. This will help you apply consistent policies across security groups and protect the right user segments without protecting the whole tenant. We've also made some enhancements to FastTrack Onboarding in Cove 26.3. So in earlier releases, we introduced FastTrack Onboarding for Exchange Online and OneDrive, and in Cove 26.3, we've also extended this capability to SharePoint and Teams as well. So this allows you to protect Microsoft data faster with fewer clicks by providing a streamlined onboarding experience. So if you're onboarding a very large tenant, or if you're onboarding multiple tenants, this will be very useful for you. Exchange Backups are now faster in Cove 26.3. Now we skip attachment reads for unchanged messages and use delta statistics during the processing. If you have an environment with very heavy attachment usage, you'll realize a larger reduction in the backup duration. Exchange Online Export to PST also has some new enhancements in Cove 26.3, by now including the ability to support exports of large mailboxes. So think of mailboxes that have 100 gigabytes or more of data. Also with Exchange Online Export to PST, users now have more visibility into the export process because now we show the mailbox type and status in the export flow. And last but not least in Cove 26.3, the Teams Restore Wizard now has a new UI, which is built on our Apex design system. So this will bring a more unified and consistent restore experience across the product user interface. That's it folks, that's Cove 26.3 wrapped up for you.
