Through this video series, we will highlight key concepts in Hoodoo to get you started and set you on the right path. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, we've got you covered. The goal being to take you from here to here. You'll learn everything you need to save time, stand out, and drive growth. I first want to state that the majority of the videos in this series are going to be focused more on learning the basics of Hoodoo by manually creating documentation. But once we understand the core concepts of Hoodoo in the last two videos of this series, we will begin to automate this. Before we walk through anything in the Hoodoo environment itself, let's explore some additional key resources with Hoodoo. Hoodoo HQ, Hoodoo's self-service billing portal, is where you can manage your subscription, including changing your license count, updating your billing information, and viewing or paying your invoices. The Hoodoo Community, a great place to have discussions with other Hoodoo users, access community scripts to provide different automations to your instance, and see what events Hoodoo has coming up. This is also where you can find this series and other useful training materials through the Academy. Make sure to turn notifications on for real-time updates. Last but not least, support.hoodoo.com, where you can find support guides and interact with our support team. If you have questions through the initial stages of Hoodoo, always feel free to reach out to us there by submitting a ticket. Now moving on to what you can expect from this guided video series. In the first video, we'll explore and learn how to customize the dashboard, offering your technicians a customizable overview of your documentation. In our next video, we will take you into Companies, truly the heart and soul of Hoodoo. That will then bring us into our introduction to Asset Layouts. In addition to being structured via Asset Layouts, each company comes with their own set of core tools. In video 4, we'll discuss all of them and cover the benefits of each. In our last video of the introductory part of the series, we will cover inviting your internal users to Hoodoo and assigning them to their respective security groups so they are only accessing the items you want them to see. Following these foundational videos, we will then have videos to explore advanced documentation tools in Hoodoo, as well as videos on our external apps, particularly the mobile app and browser extension. At this point, we will have explored the core concepts of Hoodoo and manually added in some documentation to get you familiar with Hoodoo. Following that, it will be time to get your existing data into the platform with a bit more automation. So we'll look into setting up integrations with the rest of your tech stack and how you can migrate your current documentation to Hoodoo. As you are going through this series, feel free to watch the videos in order or jump to topics that interest you most. This is the recommended order of setting things up, but things can be done in any order you choose. Being a Hoodoo magician myself, I realize that starting with a new application with so many magical features can be overwhelming. So feel free to log into your fresh Hoodoo instance and follow along with us to experience some of the navigation for yourself. If it's helpful, pause or bookmark this video series and grab a notepad to jot down key insights. We will see you in the next video.
