My name is Moritz Schmiderer, I am the technical manager and broker at IT at Business from Speiching. That is between Stuttgart and Bodensee, almost at the Swiss border. So for those who come from here, it sounds more like Swiss German. One can guess where you come from. And I have to be careful not to slip into Swabian now. We are about 50 people and support 500 active customers in the field of automotive suppliers and medical technology. Of course, a few others are also there, but mostly industry. How did you get to us? It was actually a coincidence. One time the emergency was near, HP, VSA, Left Hand, I think you know one or the other here, and maybe that's how I got to StoreMagic. We actually had someone else, an industry, who wanted to introduce us to something from Dell. That didn't work out, this appointment was a pure coincidence, but the little 10 minutes outside at the cigarette shop with HP, Left Hand, VSA. What are we doing? We don't know yet. We have already looked at a few things, were not quite satisfied. And then we started testing StoreMagic. So it was a tip on that day, in the afternoon. Exactly. In time, you fell in love. Yes. More or less. It was like this, the industry mainly did it with Hyper-V and we only worked with V4. That means I was basically left to myself in the tests, which later also spoke for StoreMagic. I had the documentation, contact with you. Technically, you couldn't help me that much again. Then it was time to call Marc or have a meeting. I was a bit impatient and started. I finished the setup. Then I called Marc and said, can we do it like this? Yes, that's good. Another tip there, another tip there. Done. Then the first setup was out. So that's how it actually went forward. We have a lot of customers who grew up with us. That means the customer started with a server room and then they got bigger. Then they were on the road with an MSA or something like that. Two to three hosts grew up and then at some point, for fire protection or compliance reasons, whatever, if one or the other may also have a car supplier, keyword T-SACS, we have certain requirements. That means there will definitely be an RC2 because of fire protection and so on. But now I still have my MSA somewhere and either mirror it somehow. Or we had the product Stormagic in the portfolio and have actually replaced a lot of MSAs. We've never done anything with cash. We've always driven full-fledged from the start. And I think we've done very, very well with that. No setup smaller than 10 GB, rather standard 25 GB. What was the decision criteria for us from your point of view and from the point of view of your team? What particularly convinced you? Documentation and that you actually don't break it. So if you've ever updated a HP left-hand, the moment the Node 1 is there, then you wait, you wait, you wait, you wait and you want to see something here. And you get a little scared because it really takes a long time until a node is updated. Then comes the other side. The operability, also the independence of the hypervisor. That means, yes, it works for us in the vSphere, but if the vSphere, this integration, the plugin doesn't work, I can go to a web interface, I can see how the system is doing. I can look from the other side if one side is broken. What does my counterpart do? Why is it gone? I have locks that I can see well. That's just simple in your words. That also means that we got it adapted relatively quickly to all our other technicians and they have a good feeling, because they are ultimately, in fact, we have a very, very small distribution. Ultimately, the technician says, hey, come on, in RZ2, we'll do something with Stormagic, we'll go further. If they feel comfortable, then the whole product works. It's actually the case with you that, without getting too close, 99% of the recommendations ultimately work. And we are a solid component in your portfolio. There is either Stormagic or the other. Exactly, there are two. You have to keep it simple. You have your team, there is also administration and so on. That means I have to use my technicians simply, so that it works, so that the customer has something in the end, so that the customer can still pay. And for a reason, I haven't broken it yet. I still remember, I think it was our fourth or fifth setup, in the Czech Republic, with a customer who is in Germany, in the Czech Republic, and in one clean room, as you imagine it there in the production, air conditioning turned off overnight. Then in the morning, I drove around 5 a.m. to Speichingen, I saw that, okay, the machines, they went out, ILO turned them off and then started again, again off, again on. That happened seven or eight times in the night. I thought, okay, all right. I picked out the number, I already called you from the car. And they said, what do you want? I said, we must have some kind of split brain, the thing is completely broken. I'll get in touch from the office right away, when I have clarity, I'll have someone there, I'll say, open the door, see that it cools down again, and now we start. They even opened a ticket for me, because I only called, gave my e-mail address and so on, with your guys, someone rang the alarm. Finally, I could call and say, it's cold again, it's running, so it wasn't broken. Really, up to support cases, up to config errors on our side, or a hardware error, we have no support cases. Is this a typical configuration for you? Server config? And how does Witness do it? Well, two nodes, by now almost not anymore, with a hardware rate controller, we mainly do it with software rate, simply to get the speed of the NVMEs, most of them are NVME SSDs that are in there, to be able to fully exploit the performance. And actually, through the license conversion by VMware, we often went to two node systems, although we always had three hosts. Then the Witness ran on the third host, we don't have that anymore, and we usually do it with Raspi. The Raspi has to be at a point where it is easily reachable from both sides. And that's it. That's it? Yes. Very good. It's been five years now, I think with you we actually have the most customers, 50 plus installations at the IT-Ed Business. Moritz is super busy, he's still here all evening, you'll meet him later at the bar, he'll be even more talkative. Definitely. Then we'll make a TikTok video. I'm sorry, but may I advise it with HPE? Yes. Moritz is also currently testing the SV-SAN under VME. If you're interested, feel free to contact him. From my point of view, this is also the framework we want to offer you. Not only that we tell you something, but that you can exchange with each other what works, what ideas you have, that you can follow us later, both at the bar and later in the Q&A, with what drives you. As you can see, there are different use cases. The standard use cases, with the middle class, in the automotive sector, with a factory in the Czech Republic, with a factory in Germany, but also such special cases, I would say, like power plants, technology, etc. RWE with wind and solar parks, for example, predictive maintenance, topics where we come into play, where you just need something, something narrow, slim, on-site. And I'm glad that we have you as a channel partner for so long and that you sometimes call me at strange times, but that's okay. I always appreciate the exchange. And we are happy and proud to have you with us as an IT and business partner. Thank you, Moritz. Thank you. Thank you.
