is the most impactful. And in this page, in the risk recommendation page, we gather all the actionable recommendation that can be applied to the device to lower the risk of the organization. So by default, as you can see, we suggest to reducing the risk of the organization with recommendations that will reduce the risk the most. As you can see, for example, the network that suggests to move devices out of the guest network will impact in 5% on the risk core. So this is one way to prioritize and to choose which recommendation to go first. But there are other ways to do it. You, for example, can see that you want to focus on recommendations on devices that have medium to critical risk score. Or you can focus only on medical devices. And then you're getting a smaller list of recommendations. The recommendations vary from different types. There are recommendations regarding the risk factor of endpoint security and enforcement level. And the internet communication of the device, and et cetera. Several of our recommendations are based on manufacturing information. For example, we can look on the endpoint security recommendation. If we have 111 devices that can be installed and endpoint security on them, and it will impact the risk in that task score. And all in 107 devices will move from medium risk core to low risk core. So as I mentioned earlier, our recommendation here, for example, are directly from manufacturing information. And as we can see, we have a dedicated page called the MDS2 directory. This page is actually centralized all the MDS2 files that we collect from our customers, open source, and we get directly from manufacturers.

TL;DR

  • Medigate's risk recommendation engine prioritizes vulnerability remediation by quantifying the impact each action will have on reducing organizational risk, with some recommendations reducing risk scores by up to 5%.
  • The platform provides filtering capabilities to focus remediation efforts on specific device populations, such as medical devices with medium-to-critical risk scores, enabling targeted security improvements.
  • Recommendations leverage manufacturer security documentation through a centralized MDS2 directory that aggregates data from customer environments, open-source repositories, and direct manufacturer submissions to provide healthcare-specific context.

Summary

This product demonstration showcases Medigate by Claroty's risk-based vulnerability management platform for healthcare environments. The platform provides a risk recommendation engine that analyzes multiple risk factors across medical devices and cyber-physical systems, then generates actionable remediation guidance prioritized by organizational impact. The system quantifies how each recommended action will reduce overall risk, enabling security teams to focus efforts on changes that deliver the greatest security improvement. Recommendations span network segmentation, endpoint security deployment, and internet communication controls, with specific guidance derived from manufacturer security documentation including MDS2 files. The platform's MDS2 directory centralizes manufacturer security information from multiple sources including customer environments, open-source repositories, and direct manufacturer submissions, providing the contextual intelligence needed to make informed remediation decisions specific to healthcare device ecosystems.
