You will see how FortiGate firewalls can be deployed at multiple locations, using only via FortiPoints, and accounts should have FortiPoints as pre-requisite, which are available for purchase on the FortiCloud Marketplace. Login to fgaas.forticloud.com and enter your username and password. Once logged in, choose the appropriate account you want to use for this service. Click on the New Order button to initiate the setup process. Fill out the required information. Choose a descriptive name for your firewall. Specify the location where you want the firewall deployed. Select your redesigned model from the available options, 91G, 901G, 3501F. Each model offers different capabilities. Select a security service with UTP or enterprise with premium support. Also, you have the leverage to add additional subscriptions to customize your protection, based on your security requirements. Start by choosing the right version of the FortiGate firewall software. You can then upgrade the software to newer versions whenever you want. Decide between deploying a single FortiGate unit or a high-availability unit, which is a pair of redundancy. Single FortiGate uses two IPs, high-availability pair uses three IP addresses. You can configure up to five IP addresses on your FortiGate device, regardless of deployment mode, single or HA. However, exceeding this limit will trigger an alert message. Specify the internet bandwidth required for your firewall. It starts with 100Mbps to 10Gbps. Once you have reviewed and confirmed all the details, click the Place Order button to finalize your request. Once you have placed your order, you will find a confirmation page with details like order number, provisioning status, and the number of FortiPoints used. Head over to the FortiGate tab to track the order's real-time status. It should become active and ready for use within a few minutes. Now, the deployed FortiGate is up and running, offering complete transparency, including your next billing date. This empowers you to plan your security usage in advance. Choose the specific FortiGate unit you want to manage. To access the initial password, go to the View section and copy the initial password needed to log in for the first time. This password is for the management interface accessible through the FortiGate's management IP address. After logging in, you can immediately personalize your access by setting a new password according to your preference. To verify availability, go to System, click HA to confirm the availability for your firewall setup. The dashboard page conveniently displays information about your current FortiGate license.
