Nathan

Nathan is the Global Pre-Sales Lead for NAS/File at Hitachi Vantara. In this capacity Nathan works with PM/Engineering as a field evangelist for all Hitachi NAS/File products including VSP One File and HCP Anywhere Enterprise.

Nathan has in the past worked for a variety of small, mid, and large organizations as both a programmer, sys admin and storage admin before transitioning to a customer-facing role as both a professional services and pre-sales consultant.

Nathan began working at Hitachi Data Systems in 2008, joining the File & Content Team as a pre-sales expert focused on the Hitachi NAS product line. For the next 12 years, Nathan worked in both Pre-Sales as the Hitachi NAS Solutions lead for the Americas and in WW Product Management as a Solutions PM. Nathan rejoined Hitachi in 2022 after spending a year and a half at Dell working as a Pre-Sales Consultant on the Isilon/ECS product set.

On a personal note, Nathan was born and raised in Scotland but has lived in the US (Texas) since 1998. He has been married to Rebecca for 27 years and together they have three adult girls – Morgan, Maya & Melody.

Nathan’s favorite past time is watching football (soccer) and supporting his team Manchester United.
