Thank you for using XConnect! This page is your one-stop resource for assistance with setting up and using XConnect to integrate your Goldcast webinars with Truth in IT.
Getting Started with XConnect

Prepare Your Goldcast Credentials:
- Generate a token by navigating to your Goldcast Studio > Settings > Token > Generate Token

Connect to XConnect:
- Log in to your Truth in IT account and go to the Webinar Connections section.
- Select Goldcast, input your token value and click Connect.

Sync and Promote:
- Once validated, XConnect will pull in your Goldcast webinar metadata (from the past 12 months) so it can be reviewed by our moderators. If suitable for a public IT audience, it will be published in the the Truth in IT directory.
- Registrants from Truth in IT will be pushed directly to your Goldcast events.

Q: How do I generate a Goldcast token?
A: Navigate to Goldcast > Settings > Tokens > Generate token
Q: What does XConnect access from Goldcast?
A: XConnect only accesses webinar metadata (title, abstract, date/time) and uses your token to transmit registrants to a specific event.
Q: Can I reuse the same token for multiple events?
A: Yes, the original connection persists for all your Goldcast events and XConnect automatically syncs all Goldcast events in your account.
Q: What if there are events not suitable for public posting on Truth in IT?
A: Any webinars indicating they are for "internal use" or "private" or for "customers only" etc. will not be made public. If any are in question, we will contact you and not make them public until you confirm.
Q: How do I disconnect Goldcast from XConnect?
A: Go to the Webinar Connections section in your Truth in IT dashboard and click Disconnect next to the Goldcast logo.
